Before you pay anyone for help with an order

Search results are full of services offering help with online orders. Some are honest. Some are not. These questions help you tell them apart.

Ask before you pay

  1. Who are they? A trustworthy service says clearly whether it is the brand or an independent company.
  2. What exactly do they do? Be wary of vague promises or guaranteed refunds. Only the seller can decide.
  3. What will it cost? You should hear the price before you agree to anything.
  4. What do they ask from you? Never share your password, verification codes or full card number.
  5. Can you do it yourself for free? Often you can, using the official app. A good service will tell you so.

Red flags

  • Pressure to decide immediately.
  • Requests for remote access to your phone or computer.
  • Payment requested in gift cards or cryptocurrency.
  • A phone number presented as the company’s own with no clear disclaimer.

We hold ourselves to these same standards. We are independent, we never ask for credentials, and we explain any fee before you decide.
